SOME MIJAS BEACHES...
- Calahonda Beach
Calahonda beach is located between the Port of Cabopino ( Marbella ) and El Bombo beach. Along the entire length of the beach, 4,400 meters long and 20 meters wide , we observe well-differentiated areas: from the most urbanized, with houses and establishments nearby, to the most virgin, with abundant vegetation .
Narrow and quiet, Calahonda beach is characterized by its small and irregular outgoing and incoming areas and by the richness of its seabed , which makes it a very popular place for lovers of diving and fishing .
The Blue Flag that flies next to the entrance to this beach in Mijas indicates that it is a place for bathing of undoubted quality.
- Moon Beach
Calahonda beach is subdivided into different small coves and beaches, such as Luna beach, which, in addition to being one of the quietest, is one of the best beaches in Mijas Costa , perfect for enjoying a relaxed day in a most exclusive place.
Its access, through a small tunnel, can be complicated if the area is not well known, making the place not very crowded, although we can also get there on foot, from Cabopino beach.
- Algaida Beach
Algaida beach is located in front of the urbanization of the same name. It is a very little frequented beach, very similar to that of the Moon, and shares with it the relaxed atmosphere and fine, clear sand, in front of very clean waters , which make bathing in this place a privilege.
