If you want to go from Malaga airport to Mijas, you should take Algeciras direction on the AP-7 motorway. The distance to travel is about 38 kilometers if you go to La Cala de Mijas and 25 kilometers to reach Mijas town, which is equivalent to about 20 or 30 minutes by car.

BY CAR…

If you decide to go by car, you should take the A-7 motorway as if you wanted to get to Algeciras.

The motorway admits a maximum speed of 120 km/h until its exit to Mijas. During the journey you will find a rest area with a gas station in case you need it. You will find the exit to Mijas and Fuengirola shortly after passing the exit to Benalmádena Pueblo.

If you prefer to go to La Cala de Mijas, La Laguna or Mijas Costa, you should continue towards Fuengirola on the A-7 road. If you want to get to Mijas Pueblo you should take the A-387 road.

BY BUS…

There is no direct bus from Malaga airport to Mijas. In any case you could take the Line A Express that goes to the center of Malaga and from there take the bus to Mijas.

6:35, 9:50, 13:00, 21:00.
Departures from Malaga to Mijas on Sundays and holidays:
9:20, 12:20, 15:25
